Wait a moment, reflect…
What do you want?
What are you seeking?
Your intentions,
What are they?
Your passion,
What drives you?
And in all that you pursue, what have you found?
You have cultivated worth in your life.
Your accomplishments,
Magnitudes of success!
What you have been a part of,
Great feats!
Busted your behind for it,
Hard as it was, you worked at it!
At night,
You rest easy,
Head half sank into your comfy pillow,
Knowing you submitted to the process.
You never cut any corners,
You did it intentionally,
In step to the beat!
Wait, hold on,
Reflect some more…
How did you really get here?
Was it your wits?
Or you journeyed with God?
When you stopped and reflected,
Where was God’s worth in your pursuits?
Did you see it?
Was it beautiful?
And do you want it?
Are your eyes opened to the truth?
Do you intend to lean on it?
DO you seek his understanding?
God’s wisdom,
Will it guide your steps,
To his path?
Where you will be,
On your journey of salvation!
Have you then decided?
I no longer want to be all that I am,
Without God at the helm!
Now I craft my life,
To be a place of God’s worth,
Where the holy spirit dwells.
Finally, I am aware,
For my eyes have been opened.
What I must do,
Is clear to me now,
I intend to seek God’s worth in my life!
